Debut demo release from experimental black/death metal project. HOMUNCULUS expands upon some of the ideas and motifs of its spiritual cousin HISSING, while also exploring forbidden new depths. Furious and unhinged drumming interweaves with sinister guitarwork, bolstered by eerie synths, inhuman howls, and whispers from inverted dimensions beyond mortal comprehension. The sound of HOMUNCULUS recalls tortured echoes of ANTEDILUVIAN, VIRUS, IMPRECATION and ALUK TODOLO melded together into a malevolent, hallucinogenic nightmare. A mockery of music and life violently birthed from another reality into this one. Not recommended for those teetering on the lucid edge of sanity.

Some bands have struggled since the old spicy cough came along, but Krallice have absolutely flourished, releasing 5 albums in the last 3 years. It’s one thing to be prolific like they have, but one could argue that these last few albums are among the bands best work to date. So when they went and dropped this album on us, It’s fair to say that I was rather fucking excited. And my god is it good. US Avant-garde / Progressive Black Metal. What an incredibly diverse album this is! It is a one man, Colin Marston, project & despite him being an incredibly talended multi-instrumentalist, this is a debut. This makes it all the more stunning & I am super excited about what the future holds & I will definitely be here for it! Love the title of the first track! Ignorance is everywhere unfortunately...
